The Elser Hotel & Residences is a 49-story luxury condominium hotel located in Downtown Miami.   The newly completed tower offers 646 fully furnished rooms/residences, over 19,000 square feet of curated amenities and 5,000 square feet of prime retail space.  Named after the iconic Elser Pier, which was built in the 1900s and became the premier place for locals and visitors to enjoy the magical shoreline of Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami, The Elser Hotel & Residences will continue this tradition. 

 

Overview

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for clerical, administrative, marketing materials, and other duties to assist in the smooth operation of Sales & Marketing.  He/she is also responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the organization and preparation of promotional materials and/or events.
  • Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.
  • Answer client / bookers questions about property facilities/services
  • Responsible for coordinating internally with the sales & marketing team.
  • Generating reports, preparing proposals, collections details , coordinating with clients & suppliers.
  • Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings, events and any appointments.
  • Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Interaction with client in regards to leads, hotel needs and client trave
  • Greet guests/clients/employees when necessary.
  • Attend meetings/training as required by management.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or in any other related field preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • Be able to work effectively with a team
  • Good knowledge of the workings of the hospitality industry
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to relate cordially with team members, customers, colleagues, management, etc.
  • Strong ability to pay attention to details and strive for excellent on work delivery
  • Ability to apply Microsoft Office packages, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, effectively
  • Ability to be flexible in decision making taking into consideration the prevailing circumstances
  • Strong problem solving ability to be able to provide solutions to challenging situations
  • Dynamic, Team Player and wiliness to help across other areas of resort.
  • Skill in Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Developing and implementing ideas that will help the organization to meet sales’ goals
  • Providing after-sales services to customers
  • Ensuring sales representatives are fully equipped with sales-support materialsl.
