Just a short walk or bike ride from Key West’s boutique shops, art galleries, eclectic restaurants, and non-stop nightlife, the resort spans over two city blocks and offers guest rooms that are located within easy reach of both the beach and world-famous Duval Street. 

Overview

Banquet Servers are integral to event success, providing exceptional food and drink service to guests at special events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, and other celebrations.

Responsibilities

  • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. 
  • Be familiar with the organization of the Restaurant(s), lounges, and Room Service and know the function of each job position. 
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets. 
  • Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. 
  • Seeing to the comfort of guests and answering their questions
  • Arranging tables and setting up decorations, condiments,napkins, utensils, etc
  • Aerving food and beverages to guest at venues or catering events
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties according to station rotation assignment and established checklist. 
  • Ensure that tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy and clean. 
  • Keep all beverages at least ¾ full (coffee, tea, soda, water, and lemonade). 
  •  Cleaning up the event space once the affair is complete. Maintain the ambiance and highest sanitization standards
  • Be familiar with fire extinguishers, locations and know how to use them. 
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders. 
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:   

  1. High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
