Overview

WHERE YOU WORK

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU DO

As Housekeeping Manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department—from guest rooms and public spaces to laundry and back-of-house—ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets luxury standards. You lead and support your team through daily check-ins, ongoing training, and by jumping in when needed. Your focus is on quality, cleanliness, and guest comfort, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues with professionalism and speed. You manage inventory, reduce waste, and align staffing with occupancy levels to ensure efficiency without compromising standards. You work closely with other departments to fulfill guest requests quickly and seamlessly, and you keep detailed records and reports to track performance, expenses, and feedback. Whether it’s mentoring a new room attendant, resolving a guest concern, or improving a process, you lead with intention and pride—and you set the tone for every shift.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

You are detail-obsessed, people-driven, and take pride in creating environments that feel impeccable, polished, and welcoming. With at least three years of housekeeping management experience—ideally in a luxury hotel—you know how to lead with both precision and heart. You’re the kind of person who notices the little things before anyone else does, and you coach your team to do the same. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and hold high expectations for both service and presentation. Your leadership style is hands-on and supportive, with a focus on consistency, accountability, and building a team that cares about doing things right. You bring a strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety protocols, and hotel standards, and you’re just as comfortable inspecting rooms as you are managing a labor forecast. A degree in Hospitality or a related field, along with the ability to obtain any required local certifications, completes your professional toolkit.
