Overview

As Spa supervisor, ensure daily duties are complete amongst team, create positive work environment, create lasting guests experiences and maintain smooth operation of Spa.

Responsibilities

  • Explain services, treatments, and procedures;
  • Mediate and resolve client and spa associate issues;
  • Work cooperatively with the entire Spa team to ensure a consistent quality of experience for all clients;
  • Making confirmation calls; if necessary
  • May contribute to the planning, marketing, and coordination of promotional events;
  • Checking voicemails/emails and returning messages promptly;
  • Checking out guest and research purchase orders;
  • May need to order products, manage and check inventory
  • May complete payroll duties if needed
  • Build relationships with vendors
  • Manage budget and revenues
  • Greeting clients with a friendly smile and demeanor
  • Any other related duties within the spa assigned by leaders and stake holders.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment;
  • Self-directed and detail oriented;
  • Professional telephone and email etiquette;
  • Previous hospitality experience a plus;
  • You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings;
  • Punctual, reliable, and confident;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Enjoys working with people;
  • Can stand for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills;
  • Experience and skills in budgetary, projections, and cost control;
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of spa management experience in resort spa setting
  • Professional work experience in local market;
  • In-depth knowledge of spa operations to include health, fitness, wellness or related fields;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in spa is acceptable.
