Located in historic Old Town, Southernmost Beach Resort expands over 6 acres on a serene part of the island with Atlantic Ocean front views, gorgeous Key West architecture, and all the amenities you desire in a beach resort. Just a short walk or bike ride from Key West’s boutique shops, art galleries, eclectic restaurants, and non-stop nightlife, the resort spans over two city blocks and offers guest rooms that are located within easy reach of both the beach and world-famous Duval Street. 

Overview

The Spa Coordinator is responsible for assisting the spa staff in providing a unique and outstanding spa experience for our members and guests. He/she is also responsible for scheduling all spa related appointments, checking guests in and out, and assisting in all retail sales.

 

This position is part-time 3 days a week, must be able to work weekends. Hours are 9am-5pm or 8:30am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, manage check‑ins/outs, and maintain a welcoming, professional spa environment.

  • Schedule appointments accurately and communicate updates to therapists and leadership.

  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and promote services and retail products.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception, relaxation areas, and retail displays.

  • Support daily operations including cash handling, opening/closing tasks, and spa readiness.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling updates, timecard accuracy, and recordkeeping.

  • Monitor inventory, track retail sales, and support merchandising to drive revenue.

Qualifications

  • Able to work flexible or long hours and perform medium‑duty physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and a consistently friendly, service‑oriented demeanor with guests and employees.
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing deadlines, solving problems proactively, and applying complex information to meet operational needs.
  • Maintains professionalism through proper grooming, regular attendance, confidentiality, adherence to Highgate standards, and participation in required meetings and trainings.
  • Shows initiative, supports cross‑training, maximizes productivity, assists with solutions, and performs additional duties as assigned by management.
