Overview

Graduate by Hilton Princeton is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Barista to join our team and create memorable guest experiences through exceptional coffee service. The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing warm and engaging service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. This role requires strong multitasking skills, product knowledge, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to brand standards

  • Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations

  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently

  • Accurately process cash and credit card transactions

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, service areas, and equipment

  • Restock supplies including cups, lids, syrups, pastries, and retail items

  • Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure consistency

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee beverages a plus

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail

  • Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
