We are seeking a professional, dependable, and guest-focused Part-Time Licensed Nail Technician to join our spa team. The ideal candidate is passionate about nail care, maintains exceptional sanitation standards, and provides relaxing, and personalized services for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional manicure and pedicure services according to spa standards and treatment protocols.
  • Consult with guests regarding nail condition, service preferences, sensitivities, and desired results.
  • Provide nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, polish application, and other approved nail services.
  • Recommend appropriate service enhancements, future appointments, and home-care products.
  • Educate guests on proper nail and hand-and-foot care.
  • Maintain accurate guest consultation forms and service records when required.
  • Prepare, clean, disinfect, and maintain the nail service area before and after each appointment.
  • Properly sanitize tools, equipment, and implements according to state regulations and spa procedures.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, infection-control, and state licensing requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of spa services, nail products, techniques, and current industry trends.
  • Support retail sales goals through personalized and knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Monitor product and supply levels and communicate restocking needs to spa leadership.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, welcoming demeanor.
  • Arrive on time and remain prepared for all scheduled appointments.
  • Participate in training, team meetings, promotional events, and spa initiatives as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guest-service standards.

Qualifications

  • Current state Nail Specialist, Nail Technician, or Cosmetology license in good standing.
  • Completion of an accredited nail technology or cosmetology program.
  • Knowledge of professional manicure and pedicure techniques, nail health, sanitation, and polish application.
  • Experience with gel polish, spa manicures, and spa pedicures is preferred.
  • Strong communication, consultation, retail, and customer-service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Ability to provide personalized service while maintaining guest confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of nail services.
  • Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

For Employees Based in Washington:

  • 8 paid holidays per year
  • Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
  • Paid Sick & Safe Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with up to 72 hours of unused time carried over from one anniversary year to the next.

For Employees Based in Colorado:

  • 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
  • Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
  • 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based in California:

  • 8 paid holidays per year
  • Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
  • Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
