He/she is also responsible for ensuring that rooms are maintained to set standards of cleanliness and are ready in a timely manner for guest accommodations. When the housekeeping supervisor is off, the inspector will check rooms for guest ready status, make sure the team has what they need to complete their roles, assist them as needed, and direct the staff to complete their duties. The inspector may also need to organize supply closets, complete end of day paperwork, and address performance issues. When the supervisor is avaiable, the inspector will assume housekeeping duties for the day.
