The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for providing protection and communication with hotel guests and employees. He/she is also responsible for patrolling hotel premises to maintain security, detect and report fire, security and safety hazards and/or violations of Highgate Hotel’s rules and regulations.

He/she is also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations.

The Security Manager is responsible for safeguarding all hotel assets, associates, guests, and general visitors on the property. He/she is expected to promote strategies and protocols to protect the property and its occupants from any threats, violence or conducts that may affect the physical integrity of visitors and clients alike. The Security Manager is expected to reduce employee turnover; maintain payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping service quality consistently high.

The Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation. He/she is also responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area. He/she is also responsible for assisting with proper food storage and rotation.

This position is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence throughout the property, proactively identifying and addressing potential safety hazards, and upholding the brand’s standards for protection and guest experience. The Officer conducts regular patrols, responds swiftly to incidents, and enforces hotel policies while delivering exceptional, service‑focused communication. This role is critical to safeguarding the wellbeing, privacy, and peace of mind of everyone on property. Hotel, Resort, or Nightlife expereince is required for this role.
